Some Elk Shots

We had an opportunity to shoot some Elk over the weekend. No sun, lots of fog and haze, but the Elk were out and about. Getting close to the rut so the bulls are starting to form their harems. Our guide expects this nice 6X6 to fall to hunters this fall... He is a good looking specimen so I hope he makes it! They sure look like cows with antlers! This guy had about 15 cows/calf's in his group. The guide expects a larger bull to come in and take over shortly...
