I've never gotten good results with the "Flash" WB preset setting. It always turns out too red for me too. I use "Cloudy" for flash, but sometimes have to adjust that a little.

Try shooting a picture of a gray card it one of your pictures and using that to adjust off of later.

I even tried creating my own "Flash" white balance setting in Nikon Capture. I shot a picture of a Whi-Bal card in a closet with the lights off using flash only and saved that as a white balance setting in Capture. When I applied to photos they turned out too red too. I don't understand it.
