18-200 VR and UV filter

I've decided on getting a UV filter for the 18-200 VR which should arrive in a few days (yes, I managed to get one from B&H today during those few hours earlier when they were available). For Hoya, I see a as high-end filters both the Super HMC Pro 1 and Super HMC Pro 1 Digital. Does anyone know the difference between these two? Also, will I be able to use the lens hood and/or lens cap with one on?

(Yes, I'm aware of the UV filter arguments....)
