Amusement park structures (pics - dial up warning)
Jul 16, 2006

All the following pictures were taken at a local amusement park called Walibi, it used to be part of the SIx Flags conglomerate during a few years before reverting back to its original name.

My three major tools where 18-70 (kitlens), 100-300 APO and a polarizer.

Usually I do not miss overlaps, as more often then not, with large focal lengths, one can use them almost stepwise. This time, a zoom range from 50 - 150 would have been more usefull, so I ended up doing more lens changes as usual.

I was not allowed to take pictures during the wooden rollercoaster ride and afterwards I was happy they took away my camera for the ride, because probably it would not have survived the ride. On the Wild West Train ride, I was able to hold it in my hand and I leveld the images afterwards. Originaly they were/are level from a traveller's p.o.v.

Images are in the next post.

I hope you enjoy them and they will give you an idea of what rollercoasters is all about.

Exif is embeded.

Ronald.
