ACD Systems has posted ACDSee 4.0.1 and a patch for ACDSee 4.0.
ACDSee 4.0.1 and the patch for ACDSee 4.0 address the following:
Faster start-up and improved overall speed
Enhanced folder hierarchy in the Photo Discs pane with complete thumbnail viewing
Reduced memory requirements
Improved program speed when using removable disks and portable storage devices
Image description support for the Contact Sheet
Improved thumbnail viewing of Canon RAW format Generator print tool
