5D + Tamron 90mm Macro - Portrait
Jun 18, 2006
|
After about 6 months using my 5D, i couldn't be happier.
I came from a 10D that, althought a great robust camera, it just didn't had the AF accuracy, ISO performance and processing speed of the 5D. It is just a much better camera.
My only problem now is that i take so much good photos that i don't have the time and availability to post-process them. I'm starting now to do it slowly, but i have 6 months worth shots to do...
I started from the lastest ones and this is a portait from my 6-months old daughter (main reason i got the 5D, btw!) sitted in the couch looking high and using just the poor late afternoon light from the window. Shot at ISO 1250, i almost did no PP besides some slight curves adjustment. No sharpness or noise reduction required - amazing!
5D + Tamon SP 90mm f2.8 Macro
EXIF: 1/200s f/4.0 at 90.0mm iso1250
I am i awe at the image quality, sharpness, vividness and ISO performance. Later on this session i was shooting ISO 3200 all the way and just made some 8x6" and 12x8" prints that are awesome!
