RAW or Jpeg = Pro or Amateur?

Does the file format you use to capture an image reflect on whether you're a pro photographer or not? The reason I ask this is I've just read an entertaining thread elsewhere: http://www.photocamel.com/index.php/topic,9061.0.html

and the basic premise being argued was that if you're a real pro then you shoot jpeg at your peril. Are there any pros on here who would dispute that claim? I personally find jpeg gives me what I want the majority of the time (mainly cos I only have the Canon RAW software and can't get on with it), but maybe that's what's holding me back from being a real 'pro' ? :).
