KM CCD repaired, Good or Bad?

I noticed that many of the KM 5meg CCD's have been repaired. I'm still waiting for my 7Hi to come home and also I was wondering whether the replaced CCD performs equal or better to the original CCD?
I would be keen to hear comments regarding performance post the repair.
