Is Sony finally beating Canon?

With the new H2 that looks very good at ISO 400 and very clean at ISO 64 has Sony finally pulled away from Canon? Canon's latest offering the S3 doesnt look as clean in the image quality department as the H2 and this long term canon user feels like jumping ship.

Does Sony listen to their customers rather than Canon? Canon just seem to make slight upgrades to their existing line up where as Sony are prepared to reinvent the wheel to improve their cameras. (f707/ f828/ R1 etc...)

If the H5 samples come out as good as the H2 that I have seen this Canon boy is gonna jump ship!
