Glad you have good service in the states. I purchased an S2IS in Canada. Had major problems. it went in for repair, waited 3 MONTHS to get it back. Same probalems. Sent it in again, this time to Mississauga. Waited for weeks. I even wrote the President of Canon. No reply. I had to threatenTech. Support to get it back the second time. Good luck if your Canon breaks down here! I won't ever purchase another Canon product due to the fact that staff and management there could care less if customers are happy with their products.
