Rules of thumb for the E-1

I have searched the Internet and also this forum. I am looking for a simple list of rules of thumb, based on practical experience for configuring the E-1 camera. I bought a new E-1 in Thailand and love it.

An example of what I am talking about is that I read it is good to adjust the sharpness of JPEG images by two calibration marks if you are going to print the images. There are great sites for the C5050, 5060 and 7070, but I have found nothing similar for the E-1. Any links or advise would be appreciated.
