Printing Selphy 710 w/Mac

I seem to be having problems getting my Mac to recognize the Selphy 710 driver. I've loaded the latest driver found on the Canon website and when I go to print I can't find the printer with the printer utility. I'm using a G4 Aluminum Powerbook running OSX 10.4.4. Anyhone else have any luck?
