photoshop color determination

how do you determine the color management in photoshop (cs2)? do you allow photoshop to determine the colors or do you allow the printer to determine the colors? i want to most closely match the screen.

if i choose let photoshop determine colors, i can choose my monitor profile. is this viable option?

right now i have been printing with "let the printer determine colors".

i have a selphy cp510 and a kodak 1400.
