Had an S20 Pro. Loved it. Dropped it Now have an S9000.
The pictures from the S20 felt better. Looked like print film;
looked like professional work. Tried raw, wasn't enough
improvement to justify the extra effort, media space, disk space or
extra time. Always shot jpeg at 6mp fine, soft sharpening.
I really miss the 10 shots in 2 seconds burst mode.
I have to do more pp with s9000.
If you are a profession and don't mind the 3mp limits, the S20 is a
great studio / protrait camera.
Well Said!!! I just got an S20 Pro after purchasing the S9000. I am anti PP at the moment and the file size for 9mp was bulky. I miss the items you mention (Zoom / setting) but love the image quality from the S20 pro.
I'm sure you will feel a loss for a while more until you master the S9000.
