Regarding Image quality only

NOWHERE have I seen or read anything about the comparative qualities of the IMAGE quality of the G6 and the A620.
(Please don't refer me to the usual comparison tables). I'm talking about the fullness (as compared to flatness) of the image; the richness,vividness of colour or lack of it; sharpness or otherwise; detail showing or not et cetera...
Has anybody had REAL experience of these two cameras? in which case they MUST have an opinion on this...I'd love to hear something on this...
