E-500 vs TOYLIKE REBEL XT

I just bought a E-500 after looking at the canon rebel xt and nikon D70. The olympus and nikon were of good quality and felt very solid. The canon was toylike and the grip felt like it was made for a child "something you would find at walmart". Anyway I ended up buying the 500 after the salesman told me about sensor dust problems on the other cameras and how the electrostatic charge on the sensor attracts dust. He showed me some pics taken with a 6 month old canon that had dust induced problems all over them. Clear choice E-500
