Should I upgrade to a Fuji s9500 from s7000?

I'm in a dilemma at the moment. I currently have a Fuji s7000 and am considering upgrading to a fuji s9500. I had the fuji for a year plus and I'm very happy with the sharp pictures it produce.

I have been looking around the forums and I notice s9500 portrait shots are a lot softer and not as sharp as my s7000. I haven't seen a good portrait shot yet.

I need to decide by tomorrow if I want to sell it and get the s9500 because I have a wedding shoot on Saturday. I love everything about the s9500 but the quality of the photos is still a question mark.

Can you people help me clear my doubts on this aspect?
