I found that in rawshooter essentials one can get rid of those artifacts by changing the processing bias parameters for sharpness and detail extraction to something like -100 or -150.

you cannot do this in the software because it is limited to -50, but you can edit the ProcBias.txt file in the "Settings" subfolder of your rawshooter folder under 'c:\programs' or wherever. Just set the processing bias for sharpness and detail extraction to something distinct like -37 and you will know which value to change in your editor. Be sure to make a backup of the file first though and don't edit it while the program is running. also you'll have to change the values for all different isos separately.
For me this worked nicely, let me know if it works for you.
