extention tubes on ai-s lens

Hi there.

I am considering buying extention tubes for my Nikor AI-S 400/3.5.

Since i also have other lenses (AF-D 105 macro) i thing i would be better of buying the kenko extention tubes (set).

Will these work on both ai-s and af-d/af-s lenses or should i buy a couple of pk-13 ??
