Fuji F10 compared to Canon SD500

Anyone had a chance to compare the 2 cameras? I'm thinking about picking up a pocket sized camera, and it is now down to these 2 choices. Any advice? I'm mainly concerned about image quality.
Can I manually set shutter speed and aperture on the F10?
