Different between Epson 1280 and 2200 printer

Does anyone know if the 2200 printer will print better quality photos than the 1280 printer. I am not for sure what makes the difference in the quality of printers but they both have 4 picoliter.

Does anyone know. The reason I want to know is because my printer will need to be replaced one of these days. Someone told me that the print heads will only last around 2 years and my printer is around 4 years old.
