Resolution & ISO Question?
Aug 7, 2005

First Question:

I notice that when pics are taken with the Sony H1 the EXIF shows the X&Y Resolution to be 72 but when pics are taken with the Canon S2IS the EXIF shows the X&Y Resolution to be 180. And all other factors for an identical pics are the same. What is this telling us about the difference between the two cameras?

Second Question:

I very carefully compared my old Olympus 3040Z with the Canon S2IS. With both cameras on tripods at the same time the ISO on the Canon will be like ISO 100 when the ISO on the Olympus will have to be ISO 200 for the FStop & Shutter Speed to auto register the same for both cameras. That is, ISO 200 is needed on the Olympus for ISO 100 on the Canon. What is happening here? I have made very careful tests?

Your kind help on these matters is greatly appreciated!
