Epson 2200 Matte Black Ink and Mac OSX

Hello,
Has anyone successfully printed using the Matte Black ink on the Epson P2200 on a Mac with OSX (10.38 to be exact)? I've pulled out my hair several times trying to use this ink and the only thing that happens when I send an image to the printer is a message in the desktop printer that says "jobs stopped". I'll send anyone a great big HUG if you can find a solution. The best prints from the 2200 are supposed to be the ones on Enhanced Matte paper and Matte Black ink, but I've yet to print one in the 1.5 years I've had this printer.
