C-8080 Battery Holder

As a newcomer to this really very informative forum, (which I have been reading with great interest during the last few weeks), I would like to start-off with a few queries concerning the B-HLD30 battery holder for the C-8080.

Does the B-HLD30 disturb the otherwise superb grip of the C-8080 or does it actually enhance the overall handeling of the camera?

Is the build quality as good as the C-8080, (mag body) and is it also made in Japan?

Are there any other things which I should know about relating to the B-H before actually buying one??

Prices appear to be plummeting so this seems to be about the right time to do so.
