I used mostly the 18-70 kit lens, sometimes my brand new Nikon 12-24 (I did not want to use it too much yet) and a Sigma 75-300 just for the birds pictures.

I could not change my lens most of the time because of sand winds...

I did not use a polarizing filter, I was not happy with the result I got from previous trips. However I did sometilmes generated 2 pictures from the Raw with Nikon capture, and combined them with a mask in photosop so I could get at the same time a blue sky, a textured white cheich and a luminous sand...

I did sit down with the intention of trying to write a few notes of
constructive criticism, but then I looked through the images again,
and have nothing more to say except that in a few pictures the
horizon is quite close to the middle of the image, which is not
ideal, but these pictures carry it well. That's as critical as I
could get.
