I recently bought a 2nd hand Nikon Coolpix 950 for IR photography.
It seems to work fine, however the left hand side of the camera
(with the lens etc.) makes avery audible clicking noise! Should I
be worried about this? Anyone else experienced this with the 950?
Good news is I got it from Jessops as a used item, they offer 30
day no quibble money back, and a 12 month warranty. Wondering
whether to just get my money back, or feel safe in the knowledge I
can have it repaired for 12 months...

I also have a continuous , low but audible, clicking, which I believe to be some sort of continuous focusing. Therefore I think your camera is O.K. I would only worry if it were a nasty loud clicking.
