Got my Tokina 12-24 today...

...and it's going back.
Third picture, the aperture didn't open back up and the window gave an "ERR 99." Got it back open by switching to MF, but it happened again a few other times. Man.
On the plus side, I really like the way the lens is built. It's got a lot of heft to it, and I love the way you can instantly switch to MF using the focusing ring. Canon could learn something from this feature, which I like more than full time MF.
On the minus side, the zoom goes the wrong direction. Can't the lensmakers get together and decide on a standard? It's ridiculous.
Just about everybody's out of this lens now, so I'm going to have to wait some more...
