Softbox on cheap studio flash?
Apr 5, 2005

I am new to studio photography and just built a small studio in my basement for portrait shooting. I am an amateur photographer and have no plan to become a pro.
I bought to cheap studio strobes from Opus. They are 100 watts each. I also got a small softbox 15 in X 15 in. It is the only size that the company sells for these small strobes. My first shooting show that the light with that small softbox is too hard and I would like to attach a bigger softbox (24 X36 or 30 X 40) on my strobes. The strobes are plastic with a diameter of 3.5 inches and have no mounting bracket or speedring available for them.
Do you know a way to mount a bigger softbox on my strobes? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!
