Lyson Quad Tonable on Epson 220 - beginning problems

I just installed the Lyson Quad Tonable product on my beloved Epson 2200. I followed all the instructions - ie flushing out the old inks.
Printed my first image and ....

Its basically blue - Not blue like blue ink, but blue like subtle metamerism would look like...sort of blue. I figured, no problem this is "tonable" so I read how to add a warm adjustment layer, which I did and...basically a stranger blue - sort of blue with warm highlights results.
I figure I must be doing something wrong.

Has anyone else gotten these reslults and then figured out where they went wrong ?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
p.s. Photoshop CS running on PC (not mac).
