JPG might come close for some professionals and lucky armatures but
you will never beat RAW after proper post processing.

You can say this though that RAW (after proper PP) will always beat
or equal JPG out of the camera.

I can shoot 10 frames in 2 seconds in jpg. can't do that in raw, that 6 shot buffer goes by real fast at 5 fps and 1 fps after the buffer is full is super slow. I also can't see any difference on screen between a fine jpg and a tiff convertered from raw using the canon's dpp software, i will get C1 in a few weeks probably, hopefully it is better.

I also can't see a significant difference between iso100 and 200 on a well exposed image.

If I could see a significant difference in sharpness or detail i would shoot raw all the time.

Narrow depth of field ahead
Use extreme caution
