It goes to show you how there is not just "One Truth" on RAW. There are different views -- and ya know what people, different strokes for different folks.

There's no reason to make a broad statement like "raw is the only way to go" or "shooting raw is a waste of time" -- they both have their place, and quite honestly, it doesn't make you less pro, less skilled, less intelligent to decide away from RAW for a particular reason.

And before you get all high and mighty and tell me that anyone who things jpg is the better way to go (for them) is just stupid or has "wasted their money" on a dSLR -- keep in mind there are many professional and famous photographers still shooting film who would think you are quite the idiot for even making this argument about digital.
