20D Ted Nugent Concert Shots - If you don't like pictures, don't look!
Jan 31, 2005

Saturday night I had the opportunity to shoot Ted Nugent at Billy Bob's Texas in Fort Worth. I must say it was THE loudest concert I have ever attended.. Ted was in rare form and did not dissappoint the 6,000 people in attendance at this sold out show. Here are a few of the 200+ shots I took at the show.

I was using the 20D and the 70-200 2.8L IS.. my lens of choice for most concerts that I shoot. ISO was 800 and I was shooting manual except for AF. With constantly changing stage lighting, manual is the only way to go, at least for me. I let the camera focus and I juggle shutter speed and aperture.

Enjoy.

Yeah, in that last one he was eyeballing me.. guess he finally saw the big white lens.. but half a second later he winked and we both continued what we were there to do.

The ability to 'see' the shot is more important than the gear.
