Tsunami relief idea, but I need help
Jan 29, 2005

I have joined up with an organization this last week to help them rebuild a school in Sri Lanka. We would like to have it built by this fall, but to do so we need to raise alot of money very quickly.

We are getting some big donations in, and their is a romor that the Gov-a-na-tor may even show... But I do not know if I believe that or not (I live in California). It will be a very nice event. We are expecting between 2-3,000 people at this fund raiser.

But I was thinking tonight of setting up an area where people could buy art. Not mine, but some of the shots that you guys have taken are incredible. If I could get 20 people who would be willing to donate a picture or 2 to this, I would spend the time printing, and mounting the pictures. You would not recieve anything from this, and I would end up with a Huge printing cost off of my Epson 4000, and with frames... but it would be worth it I think. You would recieve credit and know that you have a picture hanging up in someone elses living room. As well as making a relitively cheap donation to the Tsunami relief.
the organization that I am with is:

Does anyone like this idea?
