My first year with E-1 in statistics
Jan 12, 2005

Hello, I did this mainly to entertain myself but thought that this might have some interest to others also. During last year I took 8245 pictures with my E-1 and saved 7572 of them to my computer.

I gathered the exif-data of the saved pictures and created some statics of the aperture, exposure time, focal length and ISO-value used.
The statistics are here:

Some comments about the results (that I probably will add to that page also later):

  • Aperture F3.5 pops out probably because I took quite a lot of pictures of sailing boat-races using 50-200 at 200/3.5 to minimize exposure time (and camera shake).

  • I was a bit surprised to find ISO-values 125, 160 and 250 from the pictures, I suppose on auto-ISO the camera selects these in some situations

  • I might split the data also to different lenses later, I think the data for that is in the files also

By the way, I used flash in 2017 pictures.
