CP8800: why annoying limitations of remote and time-lapse ?
Jan 12, 2005

There were no answers when I asked this last year - but I won't give up: Is there ANY technical or at least comprehensible reason why Nikon merely lets you start the self-timer with the CP8800 remote control instead of an immediate shutter release (or give you a in-camera mode to choose between both) ? And: can anyone think of a reason why the minimum intervall for time-lapse frames is 30 seconds ?
Is this just to annoy CP8800 users or to seperate them from real 'professionals' ?
