Technique for photos on the beach...

Are there any rules for taking pictures on the beach? I mean, can an experience photographer give me feedback since the other day I photographed a girl for TFP work and it was my first time in such settings.

I took over 100 photos and applied a little bit of blur effect in photoshop to couple of of the pics. Jalbum resized and created the album.

She is a great girl; it was below 50 in Malibu and windy. She is a natural doing this.
