Bad Noise, Bad D2H Noise ...

I shouldn't do this but heII, I did ...

Those are 100% crop of out-of-the-box D2H shot at 1250 and 1600.

What I did was open them in PSCS and upsampled them to 4096X2713 in the RAW editor box.

transported them in CS, resized them to the default D2H file size 2464X1632, took a crop viewed at 100%, entered the ISO number and voilà.

There was not a good light in the room, you can see shadows even in the crop and a bit more noise. No, this is not a concert hall shot but it shows that the crappy camera can take pictures without bad noise. Or might I have a very poor sample ?

BTW, I still think the MKII shows less noise than this but also a bit less details ...
