Pro question: fashion/beauty crossover
Dec 8, 2004

A great photographer friend of mine gave me a tip: to be successful, find a niche you're good at, specialise only in that, and become the best in that niche.
Soon after that, I decided to make beauty my niche, as I enjoy beauty work the most. However, I have recently been asked to do some high fashion outdoor lingerie shots, which is a bit of a step out of my comfort zone, but a real challenge I don't think I can resist.
There seems to be quite a crossover between beauty and fashion. Is it possible to get away with doing both, or should I really specialise in only the one?
Any advice from fashion/beauty pros welcome.
