Interesting comparison...take a look

Does this image comparison seem fair to you? (near the bototm of the page, left hand side)

It looks to me like the smaller one has been "nearest neighbour" interpolated and therefore looks worse than it should do...

I've even gone as far as getting in touch with O2 about this because I'm not sure its a fair comparison, to get some more details about the shot and what it is supposed to demonstrate. Just wanted to get a couple of oppinions form here to make sure I wasn't imaginig things...!
