I finally met Mono Lake [7 img]

These are from last week while in the Eastern Sierras here in California - Tuesday and Wednesday mornings I was the first car to pull into the parking lot at 5am. It was SO AWESOME walking to the water in the pitch black and listening to the owls hoot and the coyote families talk to each other around the lake. My sky's were not that spectacular, but good enough to get some photos I'm really happy with. Regardless, I will be back to this place again soon - there is no place on earth like Mono Lake. It should be on the list of every photographer to visit....

Most photos were taken with an out-of-date-can't-take-a-decent-photo Canon 10D with 17-40 F4L lens.....
