Rick,

It is great that some-one who owns a camera has wrote the XP
interface. Following may be little suggestion from me.

All of the UI devs working on this stuff own digital cameras, and are big enthusiasts of the technology and photography in general.

Different camera's EXIF information may not be compatible to each
other. In order to get full potential for new EXIF features, have a
open interface for EXIF plug-ins. Suppose Canon come up with D40,
and EXIF information is different, and some new things. Similar to
driver installation for Windows Devices, have a interface so that
canon can write a new EXIF-plug-in for D40 camera.

The Windows XP implementation of this is not extensible in the way you suggest. Although we do support all the non-proprietary EXIF information -- which is the large percentage of the information. Thanks for the suggestion to open up the interface, I'll put it on the list of things to consider for the next release.

Additionally Picture viewer interface should so easy to naviagte, I
like the approach of having specialized keys for most commonly used
tasks where ever possible to speed up the navigation. ACDSee is a
perfect little tool whic is very user friendly. COPY them :-))) the
M$ way !!

There are keyboard shortcuts for just about all (if not actually all) features of the picture viewer in Windows XP.

Hope this is useful to keep the compaibility across the board.

Thank you again for showing up here.

Thanks for taking the time to give me feedback. It's appreciated.
