Taken on an afternoon trip to Pipers Lagoon in Nanaimo, BC, Canada. I was looking for a shot a bit different, and it came to me while sitting on a rock, looking up the hill through some tall grass. This is what i saw. Beyond the grass is the shore, the shores of The Strait of Georgia. The Georgia Straits run for 240km (150 miles) between Vancouver Island, and BC's lower mainland. A beautiful boat trip to make, and not to be passed up if visiting during the summer months!
