Waiting for the bus, waiting for inspiration, waiting to be used or just waiting for something better to come along. Who (or what) is waiting, why and what for is up to you, but your photo has to convey a clear sense that your subject is in some way incomplete. Oh, and no borders!

Processing rules:

Full-frame adjustments only (dust and scratch removal is ok, but no masking, selection or per-pixel edits).
No compositing
Cropping is acceptable (especially if you're cropping off a border you previously added).

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

NO BORDERS: I will actively disqualify images with borders, even those with supposedly tasteful 1px borders. I don't even pretend to be rational about this, I just can't stand borders.
Please describe your image, especially the equipment (especially DIY equipment) you used to get the shot. Flash settings, home-made reflectors, whatever (this isn't a rule as such, just a polite request).
You may enter up to 3 times, however if multiple images appear similar enough to confuse voters (similar enough either to your own image or another contestant's) I will disqualify all but the first
