In this challenge, let us see examples of spots or dots in nature, perhaps on flowers, plants, tree bark, insects or spiders, wild (undomesticated) animals or birds, the first drops of rain on dry ground, etc. By 'spot' I mean a mark on a surface differing sharply in colour or texture from its surroundings. Macro and close-ups welcome. Where possible, the subject should be outside in the natural environment. SIZE: 1,600px MAXIMUM ON LONGER SIDE.
