Challenge #93 in the Life in the Natural World series. Hosted by RuthC.
Challenge has finished
Nature has a wonderful way of reclaiming its lost land. Show us examples where nature has found ways to start new life, through plants, moss, fungi etc., often in extremely harsh, unwelcome places. The plants can be between bricks, stones, concrete, steel, asphalt, or other man-made structures. Show us the sense of struggle and survival between the tiny plant and the large structure. Please NO ivy growing on walls; that's too easy. Macro and close-ups welcome. Size of entry: 1,600px MAXIMUM on its longer side.
