The Basilica of Our Lady of Aparecida, also known as the National Shrine of Our Lady of Aparecida, is located in the city of Aparecida, in the state of São Paulo, Brazil. It is the second largest Catholic church in the world, second only to the Basilica of St. Peter in Vaticano.2

Notes: Also known as "New Basilica", is built on the hill of Pitas, had its excavation started in 1952 and completed in 1954. The tower of the basilica is 100 meters tall, 3 with 18 andares2 and his project was designed by Benedito Calixto de Jesus Neto.
