A nation under pressure from a turbulent contemporary political history and under harshest international sanctions due to its controversial nuclear program, Iranians usually doesn't have so much to cheer. However, for two consecutive days, Iranian youth had a rare chance to display their enthusiasm openly; first, the election of centrist president Hassan Rouhani, and the next day, Iran's soccer team acceptance in 2014 FIFA World Cup qualification. Here, young, mostly rural youth chanting and showing their joy because of Iran entry into world cup.

Notes: Shot without any premeditation, bikers came out of nowhere, and I had a small window of opportunity to take the shot. It was evening and street were shady because of dense trees. Photo tonally balanced in Lightroom.
