The Mü 10 Milan (Mü for Munich, Milan being the Milvus family of birds) was built in 1934. It was designed by Egon Scheibe and built by the Academic Aviation Group of Munich Technical University. As the first double-seated German high-performance glider it sports an at-the-time unique construction of a tubular steel frame covered with canvas. Only one glider of this design was manufactured. The glider is now on exhibition at the Flugwerft Schleissheim, part of the Deutsches Museum technical museum. Depicted on the side is Hans Huckebein the Hapless Raven, created by 19th century cartoonist Wilhelm Busch.
