It cannot be seen until one goes to an F1 race, but Vettel wins because he drives harder than anyone else. He could take the worst car on the grid and make it a winner. Everyone else drives a car - he flies a car. A great talent, just like Senna.

Vettel is indeed a worthy champion, and belongs in any list of great or greatest drivers already. However, he has always had a competitive ride. Would be interesting to see what he could do with a mid-pack car.
