Processing rules:

Preferably just basic post processing: crop, brightness, contrast, saturation, white balance.
HDR is admitted.

Capture date rules:

No restrictions.

Additional rules:

No composite images.
Provide a title and a short description, including the type of the aircraft and/or the name of the place where the picture was taken.
Images with full EXIF.
No old pictures / negative scans - only images taken with digital cameras.
Upload only pictures that you have taken.

This Spitfire Mk1a is on display at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago, Illinois, USA. It was the very first Spitfire placed in a museum in November, 1944 ensuring its survival. It fought in the Battle of Britain with five victories over German aircraft. It is thought to be completely original including paint.
